The Music Team is our Worship Band, led by Music Director Jennie Pitney. The team is a group of talented and committed musicians that leads our congregation in worshipping God through song.
The Music Team's mission is to worship God together with such devotion that God alone flows through our music. At our weekly rehearsals we have a brief time of Bible study, practice, and pray together as we learn contemporary Christian music and worship songs.

Sing a New Song Sunday – Several times a year we have special worship services during which individuals or groups share musical gifts as an offering of worship. If you sing or play an instrument and are interested in participating in one of these services you may fill out a response form during a service or contact Jennie Pitney at jenniepitney@hotmail.com or Susan Brehmer at sjbrehmer@yahoo.com.

Praise Jam – Occasionally there are informal “Praise Jams” held at Westside United Methodist Church. All are invited to come play their instrument or raise their voices to join in a time of worship through song. For more information about upcoming dates please contact Susan at sjbrehmer@yahoo.com.

Westside Voices is Westside United Methodist Church’s volunteer adult choir. It presents Christian choral pieces in various styles creating a community of fellowship through music. The choir sings special songs in worship approximately once per month.

Rehearsals are casual, fun, and fast-paced on Monday evenings from 7:30 – 9:00. New members are always welcome! No singing experience is required; a heart to sing for God is all you need. For more information, please contact Choir Director, May Yip, at yipconducting@yahoo.com.
