Nursery
Children of all ages are valued and welcome at Westside United Methodist Church. All children are welcome to join worship in the sanctuary or participate in age appropriate programming – nursery care (infants), toddlers (up to 2 yrs.), Westside Club (2yrs – 8th grade), InnerFire Youth Cooperative Ministry (6th-12th grade).
Children ages birth to 2 yrs are welcome in our nursery. We have two designated care areas for these children; a nursery for babies, and a safe, stimulating area for more active children up to 2 yrs. old.
First time visitors may sign their child in at the nursery. A name tag for the parent, child and diaper bag will be created. Returning families may pick up their name tags in the nursery and sign their child in at his/her appropriate room. For our children’s safety, a child will only be released to an adult with the matching name tag.
Our nursery operates successfully thanks to the commitment of our employed staff as well as parents, grandparents, and friend volunteers.
